LOL! Yes, it's possible but I still remember when I was told (very gently) by a professional that I had anxiety and depression - I was like 'wtf are you talking about?!?! I have a wonderful family who support me, I have a great bunch of friends, a great social life, I'm healthy, have a decent job, I earn good money - what the hell do I have to be depressed and anxious about?'

The people who end up with depression are usually the last ones you would suspect - it's the outgoing, loud, happy, vibrant people who are always there for their friends who end up with depression (it's a lot of hard work, always being the life of the party, not to mention always backing up your friends!).

Like I said in a previous comment, it's usually because we give too much and don't leave enough for ourselves.

Personally, I suspect that it's often a result of our brain trying to distract us - "Look over there!! Worry about their problems!!! Then you won't see how many things you really need to deal with!" ... Sneaky brains...

Aww, thanks.

Dr Giggles advises you to take it easy and start saying 'No'.

Oh - and try to avoid alcohol (not something I am normally known for saying, but trust me on this -booze is the last thing you need at this point!)
